The Belgian Canadian Business Chamber recently hosted a breakfast seminar “The Foreign Worker Program – New Requirements”. It focused on recent changes to employment law in Canada impacting the expat community. Harry Goslett and Brenda Wong, partners at the Business Immigration Law Group updated the audience on the Canadian government’s recent changes to the program. Many Canadian corporate employers have commented that the April 2013 overhaul has made their Labour Market Opinion (LMO) applications more complicated and time consuming.
